Hello!
My name is Adam Tinker and currently I am a M.Ed student at THE Ohio State University. My path started in Sandusky, Ohio where I attended Perkins High School and played varsity football, basketball, and track. I graduated with an honors diploma and I was still unsure of a major for college but I knew I wanted to be involved in education, sports, or school in some way helping to shape and guide young lives. After high school, I moved to Columbus, Ohio where I enrolled at Columbus State Community College where I received an Associate of the Arts degree in two years. Next, I transferred to The Ohio State University where I then graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor in Middle Childhood Education Studies. I am extremely passionate about educating and mentoring children in the middle grades so that is why I am further pursuing an education degree, specifically in the middle grades 4-9. My focus areas in education are English and Language Arts, and Science and after I find my teaching position I hope to coach football or basketball as well. If I were to describe myself in three words it would be: ambitious, hard-working, and caring. I am very sociable, outgoing, and I love to laugh. If you would like to know more about me please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. |
